Attention Torontonians: if you happen to be walking by Queen & Soho this weekend in Toronto, make sure to stop by our Jazz Fest inspired #MTLMOMENTS experience and catch some live music, great food, free lemonade, and maybe even win a trip to Montreal…
This weekend in Toronto, our #MTLMOMENTS experience will set up at 302 Queen West in order to give Torontonians a sneak peek of the Montreal International Jazz Festival atmosphere that makes this city so special in the summer. So what is this experience exactly? Well, like the Jazz Fest itself, it starts with the music, which will be represented by respected trio Myriad3, who describe themselves “modern jazz, meets classical, meets pop, meets Oscar Peterson,” which sounds pretty great to us. Up next is the food, an integral part of any proper festival experience, which will be served up by funky Montreal resto L’Assommoir‘s food truck. Word is that their special menu will feature everything from summery ceviches to a braised beef cheek poutine, so food truck aficionados will certainly want to stop by.
The #MTLMOMENTS street team will be handing out free lemonade and tips on what to do this summer in Montreal, but they’ll also be helping sign up anyone interested in a chance to win a trip for two to Montreal’s Jazz Fest. Come say hello and share your very own Montreal Moments this weekend using #MTLMOMENTS on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook!
