Exquisite Bedding at Le Baldaquin

One of my favourite indulgences when travelling is without a doubt hotel sheets. The smell, the fluff, the comfort…I simply can’t get enough of it. In fact, I’m starting to believe I was born with a genetic disposition to linger in awesome sheets. Which is why my heart skipped a beat when I discovered that the source of some of my favourite boutique hotels’ bedding was right here in Old Montreal.
Ladies, welcome to LE BALDAQUIN!
L’Oréal might believe you’re worth endless pots of creams and foundations, but I believe that true beauty first comes from a good night’s sleep. Which is why, what you’re really worth, is bedding that will make you feel like Cleopatra every morning…
Here is where Le Baldaquin comes in.
Imagine a contemporary and chic boutique carrying an infinite variety of bedding, opulent fabrics and luxurious collections of imported linens. That, my friend, in addition to GIFTS for all occasions, table linens, kid’s bedding, bath accessories and unique home décor pieces, is exactly what you’ll find at this Montreal gem.
On top of the 100% Egyptian cotton bedding and the high quality down duvets, what you will find at Le Baldaquin are brands such as SFERRA, a premier luxury linen collection out of Italy, which also happens to be the linens provided to society homes, heads of state…and, yes, the Vatican.
Not so keen on sleeping in the same sheets as the Pope? Check out the graphic prints of the DWELLSTUDIO line, which work magic in modern interiors.
Now with winter at our doorstep, I cannot dismiss the importance of a quality duvet. The days are getting shorter, the nights are getting colder and my genetic disposition to linger in bed is strangely, getting much stronger.  In addition to nights where the closest thing to spoon with is a pillow…I could not think of a better time to talk to you about the St-Geneve duvets.
Made in Canada using the rarest and most exquisite qualities of downs from around the world, ST-GENEVE DUVETS are extremely comfortable, amazingly puffy and fluffy, and surprisingly lightweight.  Plus the duvets all have a special coin sewn into a corner, which is meant to bring luck to its owner!
Personally, I also really appreciate the floral bed ensembles by BONJOUR OF SWITZERLAND, which are pretty, delicate, romantic and feminine all at once.
Bonus points are handed out to Le Baldaquin for the staff that genuinely cares and offers a very friendly and professional service. No pushy sales people here!
Extra bonus points for the shipping everywhere in North America. A definite plus for travellers!
PS. Don’t forget to measure your bed before leaving!!!
