  • CHEZ MENICK: THE SPORTSMEN'S BARBER

    Posted by

When Monsieur Menick was a little boy, like all of his friends, he wanted to live the life of famous hockey player. Well, the bad news was that he didn’t have much athletic talent. But the good news was that he had the vision to pick up some clippers and to sculpt out a career that would bring famous sportsmen to him.

This is the story on how it happened, featuring appearances by a couple of classic sport legends, including Hulk Hogen and Chuck Norris.
If you find yourself in a hairy situation while on your Montréal getaway, this could be the perfect place for you to get your coif in order.

    The Details

    Chez Menick
    1960 Rue Masson
    514-598-0467

Insider Info: Menick’s Barbershop is certainly off the beaten path in the unpretentious neighborhood of Rosemont. In the summer months, consider riding a bixi bike. In the winter months, the #45 bus from Metro Papineau will get you within walking distance.
