MONTREAL'S HOTTEST (NON) CLUB: I LOVE NEON

When Tiga started a dance party, people came. NEON is a conceptual electro-collective featuring Montreal’s most smokin’ DJs and some hot dancing at SAT, a digital art Mecca.

Check out one of Montreal’s raddest parties.

(And, yes, I just said “raddest”.)

Here’s a statement that best sums up the event:

“NEON began as a concept and quickly became a collective in late 1998 when friends Tiga, Justin Dallegret, Mark Dillon & John Hatz teamed up to create the perfect club night that could host the group’s eclectic and ever growing musical and visual tastes. Music was evolving, but the existing clubs were becoming boring and formulaic.

The new club night was to stay true to its mission of quality and originality. The idea was to do away with the traditional club look and feel, and start from scratch –introducing interior and graphic design, mood and lighting elements that would match the new sounds that were developing throughout the world. Everything had to change, the layout of the venue physically and visually to accommodate the new musical sound NEON was introducing.”

In other words it’s a rad dance party.

Insider Info: Although this event is not specifically marketed as “gay” per say, it is filled with people who like electronic music and visual design. Just sayin’.
