  • VILLAGE 101

    Posted by

Montréal’s Village is home to many fabulous things: restaurants, bars, cafés, boutiques and salons. It is known the world over for the all-night dance parties, for the relaxed atmosphere, and of course, for being hottie-central.

So when you visit Montréal, you are clearly going to be spending some time here.

For this vid, I grabbed a couple of my friends (Pascal & Alex) and we took to the streets to have some fun – to give you of a feeling of the Village.

And speaking of feeling, my favourite part might just be the ass slap.

    You’ll see.

The Montréal Buzz posted a photo:	There's something magical about a city that lives below a mountain and it's difficult to express why that is...there's something about Mont Royal and how it watches over Montreal as if its duty is to protect the city day and night. It's also so profound how you can be entrenched in cosmopolitan life and minutes later be surrounded by nature...and those clouds; there's no clouds like the ones over Montreal--surreal and oh so beautiful. The Montréal Buzz posted a photo:	I took this photo approximately 45 minutes before our Toronto bound VIA train was to set to leave. That morning we packed our bags and sought out crepes for breakfast before heading to the station. I cried while packing because I didn't want to leave - the four days we had spent in the city had been perfect. We decided to take one last stroll while waiting for our train. We walked out to the street only to discover it was closed off for the Pride Parade! I took a few minutes to snap some shots of everyone waiting for the parade to begin. The Montréal Buzz posted a photo:	I was in Montreal last winter (February) just after the death of one of my parents. I really needed to get out of Toronto at that time, to reflect, and to surround myself with new stimuli. It was very cold during the visit, but I spent a lot of time walking around anyway, taking photos, going to galleries, and visiting restaurants with old friends. This shot is on Sherbrooke, just west of the Main. I've posted this before, in a flickr pool called "It can't be more Montreal than this". I like this image because it looks like it's very cold out, and yet there are people moving about in what I think is one of the country's most charming cities.
