  • GARY VAYNERCHUK: CRUSHING IT à LA MONTRéAL

    Posted by

One of today’s biggest internet crimes is not knowing GARY VAYNERCHUK.
    Guilty as charged?
Fear not. Here’s your opportunity to polish your knowledge on America’s most prominent sommelier, business mogul, propelling author, social media GOD and 18th MOST INFLUENTIAL MAN of 2009 – yes, that would be before Brad Pitt AND George Clooney!
As Tim Ferriss puts it, “anyone looking to supercharge their career should beg, borrow, and steal to learn Gary Vee’s techniques”.

Thanks to his video blog, WINE LIBRARY TV – which attracts hundreds of thousands of people every day – Gary has revolutionized the wine world. His real, down-to-earth and disarmingly authentic approach, has proven that being an inapproachable snob is as passé as men only taverns and fax machines.
The NEW YORK TIMES, WALL STREET JOURNAL, BUSINESS WEEK, USA TODAY, ELLEN DEGENERES, JIM CRAMER, DONNY DEUTSCH and CONAN O’BRIEN have all featured pieces on Gary Vaynerchuk’s thunder and triumphant journey. And although the length of Gary’s achievements could measure up to the Great Wall of China, this is as far as I’ll go with the bio facts.

You see, over the last few months, I’ve developed what I’ve coined, a very sane obsession for Gary Vaynerchuk’s work. Let’s call it inspiration for the time being.

This inspiration, strong desire and refusal to take no for an answer, has led me to record DAILY VIDEOS dedicated to Gary Vaynerchuk with strong hopes of getting him to Montreal for the launch of his brand new book, CRUSH IT.
    And. It. Worked!
Gary will be talking and presenting his awe-inspiring first book in the heart of downtown Montreal! It’s all happening on Friday October 30th at Indigo Bookstore, which incidentally, also happens to be one of my favorite book joints in Montreal.
Whether you are looking to live your life doing what you love, in need of straight up business advice, or solid kick-ass motivation, Gary will give you just that.
And he’s got 142  pages of it to back it up!
Everyone is welcome, all you have to do is show up!
You can also RSVP ON FACEBOOK, and FOLLOW GARY ON TWITTER.
    Love,
    Tamy

I really needed to get out of Toronto at that time, to reflect, and to surround myself with new stimuli. It was very cold during the visit, but I spent a lot of time walking around anyway, taking photos, going to galleries, and visiting restaurants with old friends. This shot is on Sherbrooke, just west of the Main. I've posted this before, in a flickr pool called "It can't be more Montreal than this". I like this image because it looks like it's very cold out, and yet there are people moving about in what I think is one of the country's most charming cities. The Montréal Buzz posted a photo:	The beauty of Montreal is found in the diversity of the people, the historic landmarks, the arts and culture that bring together residents and returning tourists, and surely, the ever-glowing lights.
