  • MACKAGE: COATS THAT LIVE UP TO THE WOMAN IN YOU

    Posted by

Mackage designers, Elisa Dahan and Eran Elfassi, are my fashion saviours. Their coats have taken me from miserable, frozen and hating winter to elegant, warm and looking forward to those first snow flakes.
Finally! A winter jacket that keeps me warm and makes me feel like the graceful woman that I am! Sure, Johnny Depp, Halle Berry, Eva Mendes, Jessica Beil, John Legend and Lindsay Lohan are all lacquering up in MACKAGE, but let us not forget…Montreal is where it all started!

Now, you might wonder, why is Tamy talking coats in July? Well, summer is already a busy time for Elisa and Eran, as they get ready to present a brand new collection of coats (and perhaps branching out with other items?) at this fall’s Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week.
In fact, I recently caught up with Elisa and Eran at their studio – and got a sneak peek of their latest creatioons. We took a few minutes to talk jackets, design, Montreal, New York, inspiration and…babies. Have a look!
The new collection comes out at the end of August, and as soon as it does, I’ll be hitting up several Montreal stores. I expect the coats, which range from $500 to $800, to fly off the shelves.

    • By Victoria 11-11-13 at 13:55 PM I love mackage. I have been buying for the past 4 years mackage coats. Mackage makes it easy to look as stylish out on the streets as you do in the warm indoors. And this noboby else does it. I know all the stores that sell mackage in Montreal but there is nothing like miss swiss.
They really have a ll the colors, sizes and styles possible.
And they also have a great staff. I love Mackage and i love miss swiss. Together they are a perfect match.

The Montréal Buzz posted a photo:	I took this photo approximately 45 minutes before our Toronto bound VIA train was to set to leave. That morning we packed our bags and sought out crepes for breakfast before heading to the station. I cried while packing because I didn't want to leave - the four days we had spent in the city had been perfect. We decided to take one last stroll while waiting for our train. We walked out to the street only to discover it was closed off for the Pride Parade! I took a few minutes to snap some shots of everyone waiting for the parade to begin.
