Roll up your shorts, hit the gym one last time, and get started on those tans! On May 20th – 23rd everyone will be getting Hot & Dry with the Bad Boys Club of Montreal…
Hot & Dry is a weekend circuit party that is put on by the BBCM Foundation. Taking place in the onset of summer at various popular venues across Montreal’s Gay Village makes this weekend one of BBCM’s hottest events. Gays from around the world will gather to mingle, dance, and canoodle. Oh, did I mention that every single dollar of the proceeds go to community charities that support HIV/AIDS? This is what makes the events and parties hosted by BBCM different than other rave parties such as Bal en Blanc. Proceeds from BBCM’s Hot & Dry, Bal des Boys, Black & Blue, etc. all go towards community charities!
It almost seems too good to be true. I can give back and support a great cause, dance, maybe meet a boy or four, all in one weekend!? That’s what getting Hot & Dry is all about. Hot & Dry Weekend is divided into three stages. The first stage is the Welcome / Launch Cocktail at Cabaret Mado. This is a fundraiser where people can make any size of donation they feel comfortable. BBCM isn’t a size queen (but really, the bigger the better). There will also be a small presentation about the total value of products and services they provided the community last year. Saturday is where the party really starts: The Official Hot&Dry event at Complexe Sky! Cover is $5 which is measly considering renowned DJ Marc Anthony is spinning. In my opinion, they could have asked for more, it’s for charity! Even after Hot&Dry at Sky the party is still not even close to over. When the club closes everyone walks down the street to After Hot&Dry, the official after party at Circus Afterhours. Cristian Provonost, Monitor, and Murk will all be spinning here. Tickets are $20 and available pre-sale at any BBCM outlet.
Stumbling out of Circus and right into Restaurant Le Planète for the official Brunch on Sunday starting at 10:30 a.m. Cover is $14 dollars at the door. If sleeping really isn’t your thing, (please at least nap for an hour) then the Official T-Dance is starting at Sky Pub, and is a voluntary contribution to attend. Are you tired yet? Never! The secondary event is Fresh! Starting at 10Pm at Parking Nightclub with DJ David Morales, and going into After Fresh at Circus where Andy Moor, and Stoneface & Terminal are spinning. If you aren’t exhausted by then, I have no idea what planet you’re from. Round out the weekend of debauchery will be the Closing Party at Parking Nightclub on Monday night. OK, now you can sleep for 16 hours straight cuddled up with all the guys you met over this marathon party weekend.
Get the Weekend Pass for $55 at any BBCM Ticket Outlet. The official hotel of Hot&Dry is the Delta Centre-Ville, use the discount code PBBL. I’m already saving up on extra hours of sleep so I’ll see you all there!
