Good news for tea lovers: The prestigious Kusmi tea house decided to open its doors in the New World and chose your city as its first destination.
For those of you who don’t know Kusmi, here’s the run-down:
Kusmi teas are world-renowned. They are served at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, at the Ritz in Paris and at Neiman Marcus in New York City. The teahouse was founded in 1867 in St-Petersburg and the main branch is now located in Paris.
What’s hot about the new Montreal boutique:
Daily sample specials mean you can taste before you buy! This should help narrow down your choice only somewhat, however, since they carry 75 different kinds of teas. The good news is that you can try any tea that piques your interest for only $1.75 a cup.
Here’s a little secret: the best-seller is Green Tea Detox. It’s delicious, but I suspect that its fans are more interested in the health benefits it claims to have!
A wide assortment gift boxes are also available. But my favorite is a lovely shopping bag.
