Making Imelda Marcos Jealous

“I did not have three thousand pairs of shoes, I had one thousand and sixty.”
Thank goodness you don’t have to own as many shoes as Imelda Marcos to feel like you’re on top of the world! Although it is nice to own a few gorgeous pairs…
Montréal is home to amazing trinkets for your feet! From flip-flops to fringe shoes, wedges, hot hue sandals, cut-out shoe boots and porno super-woman shoes…we’ve got it all. And then some! Summer is here, and my shoe game is ON! Is yours?
One of my favourite Montréal boutiques is U&I, situated on St-Laurent Street. You’ll have to reach deep into your pockets, but trust me, those Chie Mihara suede shoes are well worth it! Check out my Flikr account to see the Viviane Westwood shoes I also tried at U&I! So cute!!!
Don’t want to spend too much? What about these awesome studded gladiator flats found for $95 at Olam? The gladiator trend has been around for a little while now, but it has never looked so good. Match it with a beautiful tribal print and you’re ready to go!
Scarpa is another great stop for shoes. Only a two-minute walk from Olam on St-Denis Street, you will be able to find some unique shoes from the brand Atelier, which is the product of Montréal’s very own Mark Azoulay.
