If you’re looking for some beautiful music in a beautiful setting, the Montreal Folk Festival on the Canal is the thing for you this weekend.
The second edition of this great, one-day-only mini-fest is going down this Saturday, June 27th, on the St-Ambroise Terrace of the McAuslan Brewery, which is nestled on the banks of the Lachine Canal…
The Folk Festival on the Canal features all kinds of folk, roots and bluegrass music. This year’s lineup features performers like Joel Plaskett, Socalled, Michael Jerome Browne, Li’l Andy, Guy Donis and much more. There’s even a children’s entertainer on hand if your offspring prefer hip hop and techno. And FYI: the St-Ambroise patio is located in close proximity to the Lachine bike path, giving you the perfect way to work off some of their fantastic beers.
The perfect way to discover a pretty (great) little corner of Montréal.
