Founded in Montreal in 2004, Plain Jane Homme is a men’s clothing collection. Miss Jane designs timeless pieces that are perfect for the jet-setting, hip man. The collection provides accessible dandyism for the athletic type, and low-maintenance classiness for the computer geek. With clean lines and timeless fabrics, such as these, there’s no excuse for not looking sharp.
We chatted with Plain Jane Homme about the collection, the guys who wear the clothes and where in Montreal you should rock your duds!
In the length of a tweet, tell the history of Plain Jane Homme:
Since 2004, @plainjanehomme has been the go to line for the modern gentlemen with a twist.
What type of guy are you designing for?
Plain Jane Homme is designed for proper playboys with proper charm who always accept the challenge of wooing the best of the best.
How is Montreal present in your collection?
The multicultural aspect of Montreal has had it’s influence on the collection, specifically it’s european charm, which is evident in the cuts and finely tuned fits. The original, contemporary and avant-garde touches found in Plain Jane Homme are all a product of inspiration found in Montreal. Being based in Little Italy, Plain Jane did a World Cup collaboration this past summer, also all of Plain Jane’s shirting is named after great Canadian Hockey players of the past, from the Gainey to the Savard to the Robinson, Montreal culture is certainly present.
Where in Montreal might you find a strapping lad wearing your clothes?
