In the summer, there’s no better place to be in Montréal than on busy St-Laurent. One of my favorite spots on The Main, as the street is known locally, is The Divan Orange. Located on St-Laurent just above Rachel Street, the comfortable, cavernous Divan is directly across from the park that hosts Pop Montréal’s summer shows and the Fringe Fest’s main stage.
Location aside, The Divan Orange is a favorite with locals for a variety of à la Montréal reasons, including a casual atmosphere, reasonable prices and a nice, friendly mix of French and English bands and customers.
