For the thousands of hockey fans who couldn’t get their hands on tickets to the season opener between the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs, the NHL hosted a special event at Place des Festivals. The 2013 Molson Canadian NHL Face-Off brought Grammy award-winning band Kings of Leon for a free concert, along with Loco Locass and The Beaches. George Stroumboulopoulos was there too. Remember when he used to host The Punk Show on Much Music? (Photo by NHL)

Check out a clip from Kings of Leon performing at the 2013 NHL Face-Off! (Introduced eloquently by Strombo, seriously man you should bring The Punk Show back!) We’re already looking forward to the next Montreal Canadiens game, but this time we’ll sing “OLE OLE OLE OLE” just a little bit louder.
