Meet a Montrealer: Nathan Beaulieu

Montréal Canadiens defenseman Nathan Beaulieu, a strapping young man originally from Strathroy, Ontario, first gained national attention as a member of the bronze medal-winning Canada hockey team at the 2012 IIHF World Junior Championship, and today smiles broadly when he recalls how proud he was to represent Canada at the World Juniors. Which is why Beaulieu is thrilled Montréal will host (with Toronto) what promises to be a passionate, action-packed 2017 World Junior Championship beginning on Dec. 26, as well as the medal round on Jan. 5, 2017, at Montréal’s Bell Centre, home of the Canadiens.
