The Top 40 men of the ATP World Tour will play at the Rogers Cup in Montréal from August 7-16, including past champions Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal, as well as Canada’s very own Milos Raonic. The Rogers Cup presented by National Bank is the third-oldest title in tennis, behind only Wimbledon and the U.S. Open, and is hailed as one of the best-run tournaments on the ATP tour. “We are once again thrilled to be welcoming the ATP World Tour back to the city of Montréal,” says Rogers Cup Montréal tournament director Eugene Lapierre (the men’s and women’s Rogers Cup tournaments alternate between Montréal and Toronto each year). “We experienced world record attendance when the men were in town in 2011 as well as historic results from our Canadian players in 2013,” Lapierre adds. “We are hoping for the 2015 edition of the event to be even better and this player field will help us achieve that.
