Well, at least their ancestors. See fabulous fossils of dinosaurs, including T Rex (not the band!) the 7-ton monster that lived 64 million years ago at McGill university’s Redpath Museum. McGill University’s Redpath Museum is a treasure for adults and children alike.  Indeed, you’ll become a child again (I did!) when admiring its archeological wonders.  There is a full size Triceratops skull – and yes, it is huge!  At the Redpath you can gaze on today’s sea creatures  (whales, seals etc) as well as their ancestors; extinct marine reptiles from the dinosaur age.  The fossils are magical.  Frozen in time, these mementos from such sites as the Burgess Shale are riveting. One floor of the museum is an archeological gold mine, featuring Egyptian artifacts including a New Kingdom mummy (c 1500 BCE) and one from the Ptolemaic era (c 300 BCE).  My favourite place after all the exciting ‘time travel’?  The Geological Garden, a gem of a secret site.
