[gay party] MEC PLUS ULTRA – One of Montréal’s hippest “out-of-village” gay parties salutes the sexiness of BUTT Magazine.

[concert] CHARLOTTE GAINSBOURG – The Parisian pixie will be playing two shows this weekend. Tickets still available for Saturday.

[burlesque] DRAG KING CABARET – Two sizzling nights of boobies, tassels and burlesque in a tribute to Cafe Cleo‘s smutty contribution to Montreal’s entertainment.

[marionette theatre] BILLY TWINKLE – Canada’s most celebrated puppeteer will unveil his most recent creation to Montréalers.

[film festival] VUES D’AFRIQUE – Great films all weekend. Also a stellar party at Sala Rosa on Saturday April 24th, featuring deejays Andy Williams and Scott C.

[butterfly exposition] BIODIVERSITY ON THE WING – It’s the last week-end of the 13th edition of Butterflies Go Free, presented at the Botanical Gardens.

[contemporary dance] COCK PIT – Agora Danse presents Vancouver choreographer Wen Wei Wang’s most recent creation. Looks to be extremely sensual.
