  • ANNE-MARIE CHAGNON: SPICING UP YOUR JEWELLERY BOX

    Posted by

Robert Ludlum once said “the most precious jewels are not made of stone, but of flesh.”  That would be us, ladies. And although that’s very true, every woman knows what a good piece of jewellery can do to her outfit: magic.
Thankfully, Montreal is not lacking in the jewel department. Anne-Marie Chagnon is one of Montreal’s most prominent jewellery designers, with genius pieces that combine unusual shapes in a perfectly balanced, architectural and archaic way.
What about this stunning ring (above) and those cool bracelets (below)? Perfect for my urban bohemian days, but would also add that edgy touch to a simple and fitted black dress or blazer. Considering that my style changes every day, chameleon jewellery is much appreciated!
I also thought you might enjoy knowing that for several years now Anne-Marie has been designing exclusive collections for Cirque du Soleil for sale at their boutiques around the world. But the good news is that you can pick up your own unique Chagnon piece right here in Montreal. It’s the perfect gift to bring back home, or – and I do this very well – treat yourself!

That morning we packed our bags and sought out crepes for breakfast before heading to the station. I cried while packing because I didn't want to leave - the four days we had spent in the city had been perfect. We decided to take one last stroll while waiting for our train. We walked out to the street only to discover it was closed off for the Pride Parade! I took a few minutes to snap some shots of everyone waiting for the parade to begin. The Montréal Buzz posted a photo:	The beauty of Montreal is found in the diversity of the people, the historic landmarks, the arts and culture that bring together residents and returning tourists, and surely, the ever-glowing lights.
