In May 26, 1969, after being turned away from the USA and Toronto, John Lennon chose to come to Montreal for his famous “Bed-In for Peace.”
It was in his room at The Queen Elizabeth Hotel that he recorded the anthemic peace song, “Give Peace a Chance.”
