  • POP MONTREAL: AMAZING SHOPPING AT PUCES POP

    Posted by

Over the past few weeks, my colleague Brendan Murphy has been talking to you about all the variety of activities one can do at POP MONTREAL.
Personally, my favorite part of the entire festivities is the weekend dedicated to Puces Pop, aka. the best time of the year to shop and discover cheap, yet amazing treasures created by independent artists, crafters and designers from here and abroad!
Everything you find at the fair is hand-crafted… Now is just a matter of getting your hands on the most praised items first! Get there early, you’ll for sure spend at least an hour or two browsing through all the amazing local jewelry, clothes, indie records and other wonderfully crafted goodies.
And while you’re there, why not make it day? Since the fair is happening at the stunning St-Michel Church (seen above) on the corners of St-Viateur and St-Urbain streets, you’ll be right in the heart of Montreal’s vibrant and emerging Mile End neighborhood.
To make it a complete Montreal experience, just cross the street for a quick coffee break at Olympico. The praised local hang out spot happens to serve the best coffee in town!
PS. Don’t leave the market without stopping by the cupcake stand!
