  • THE DALAI LAMA TO TALK IN MONTREAL

    Posted by

The Dalai Lama will be giving a public talk in Montreal on October 3rd! I’m really excited about this. The last time he came was in 1993 and now it’s finally my turn to experience the wisdom of the great Tibetan Buddhist Teacher!
Now, first I’d like to make one thing clear: This event has nothing to do with preaching for one religion over another. It’s about empathy, tolerance, love, humanity and respect. Something we could all benefit from.
Officially entitled “Educating the Heart: The Power of Compassion,” the talk might just be one of those eye-opening AH-HA moments that will become not only the highlight of your trip, but a lesson for life!
Not to mention that all the money raised by this event will go to improve the life of young Tibetan refugees in India.
Now that’s a cool, enlightening and unique activity to do while you’re on vacation! While you’re there, don’t forget to check out all the Montreal Canadien’s hockey memorabilia on the walls of the Bell Centre. As the home of our local hockey team, this place is as sacred as it gets in Montreal!
