  • QUEBEC WINE AND CHEESE SHOW

    Posted by

From October 30 to November 1, Montreal will be hosting the 4th annual Salon des vins et fromages du Québec (Quebec Wine and Cheese Show), organized by the Quebec Winegrower’s Association. You’ll have a unique opportunity to take a trip along the Quebec wine route without even leaving the city of Montreal!

This year, some 50 exhibitors and 35 vineyards from all over Quebec will be waiting to tempt your taste buds and challenge your palate. Come down to the Complexe Desjardins where you can familiarize yourself with a wide range of wine and cheese products, made right here in Quebec. If you get a craving for some goodies to accompany your sumptuous samples, there will be plenty of local cheeses, patés, chocolate, anything that goes well with wine!

Insider tip: While you’re at the show, take advantage of the occasion to try the world-renowned ice wine from Quebec. This regional specialty is absolutely delicious and makes a great gift or souvenir. Be sure to try the award-winning ice wine produced by the Vignoble du marathonien. This particular vintage of ice wine won the gold medal at one of the most prestigious contests in the world, the Vinalies Internationales held in France every year.

The Montréal Buzz posted a photo:	The beauty of Montreal is found in the diversity of the people, the historic landmarks, the arts and culture that bring together residents and returning tourists, and surely, the ever-glowing lights. The Montréal Buzz posted a photo:	There's something magical about a city that lives below a mountain and it's difficult to express why that is...there's something about Mont Royal and how it watches over Montreal as if its duty is to protect the city day and night. It's also so profound how you can be entrenched in cosmopolitan life and minutes later be surrounded by nature...and those clouds; there's no clouds like the ones over Montreal--surreal and oh so beautiful.
