Normand Laprise, the well-known chef at Toqué!, one of Montréal’s finest restaurants, has decided to serve up a feast for the eyes as well as the mouth! For him, the first bite is always a visual one, teasing your taste buds and making you long for more. That’s the logic behind his scrumptious new website, which will have you booking your plane ticket right away!

For me, the best part of the website is the menu. The dishes are photographed against a white background so that you can fully appreciate their colourful presentation. Meanwhile, the descriptions are kept basic – without adjectives – because the ingredients speak for themselves. What caught my eye? Foie gras terrine, squash and cranberry chips, date purée and curry powder. Mmm…
